    What is the magnitude of current along the center vertical wire?

    0.166A

    0.500A

    0.333A

    0.250A

    Not sure how to approach this. Any help would be appreciated.

    Since the directional arrows of the current are provided you can just use the fact that the currents into the node have to equal the currents out of the node.

    So

    I + 1/6A = 1/3A

    1/3 - 1/6 = I

    I = 2/6 - 1/6 = 1/6 A -> .166

    x+1/6=1/3
    x+0.166=0.33
    x=0.167A
