    What is the percent error?

    If a specified value is 120.00, and the measure value is 124.56, what is the percent error?

    6.39%

    4.56%

    45.6%

    3.8%

    how do I figure this out?

    |%error| = ((Specified value - Measured Value)/Specified Value) * 100%

    ((120-124.56)/120)*100% = 3.8%
