    Injection Testing - DC Breakers

We may be testing some DC breakers soon, and typically use a Multi-Amp CB 225 tester for standard AC testing. Any guidelines on using an AC test set for DC applications? Is it feasible?

The manufacturer should have guidance on that. Thermal Magnetic or digital?

We used to maintain the DC breakers for a airport train system. The breakers did not have integral current sensors. They had external shunts that fed the DC rapid rise relays. A ductor could confirm the shunt rating.
