    Motor output horsepower calculation

    11. A motor is operating at 3450 RPM and is producing a torque of 32 lb-in. What is the output horsepower of the motor? You have the answer as 1.75hp, but according to the formula you provided Help: HP = Torque x RPM ÷ 5252, the answer would be 21hp

I think you need to convert in-lb to ft-lb first.
    32 lb-in = 2.66 ft-in
    2.66 x 3450 / 5252 = 1.747

    Thanks for the tip.
