    The power loss in a transmission line due to charging current

    So, I got this question in the practice exam:

    Q: The power loss in a transmission line due to charging current is best expressed as:

    A: Ic2R/2

    Anyone know where this equation comes from? My best guess is that there's an integral involved since we have a square divided by 2. But, I'm not really seeing how to get from a common definition of power (like I^2R) to an integral with capacitance in it.
