    VCB Contact Resistance

    We measured contact resistance of VCB (11KV), the values are as below:

    Phase Applied Current Resistance
    L1 100 A 17 μΩ
    L2 100 A 32 μΩ
    L3 100 A 23 μΩ

    Please let me know whether or not the result is satisfactory ? If not why? Please give reason / standard reference.

    L2 reading is a little high. Glad to see you did 100A test, each phase should be within 50% of each other per NETA standards. Going off the lowest number (17 microhms), nothing should be over 25.5 but you should consult the maintenance manual for suggested values from manufacturer.
