Level 4 question
I do remember a few questions but this one sticks out in my mind:
A single line feeds 2 separate loads. The first load is 1200kw at .80 pf. The second load is 800kva and 300 kvar. What is the total load on the single line feeder?
I don't remember all of the answers but you can get the idea. I do remember calculating the loads in both directions so as to back up my answer. I doubt you would see this question in the exact same numerology but at least you can get a leg up on a calculation like this. Good luck. Bob.

Looking for NETA Level 4 help?
There are quite a few level 4 members on this site and some pretty sharp level 3's as well.
You can usually find them by browsing the Level 4 forum, if you post any questions about the test someone will probably help you out. -> http://testguy.net/forums/10-Level-4-Senior-ETT

Level 4
Thanks for the info... I was wondering how many Level 4 techs there are in the country, or, in NETA as a whole...
Just curious

No problem. I am not sure how many NETA 4 techs there are nationwide but I would bet it's very few compared to Levels 2 and 3. There are many prerequisites and the NETA 4 exam is rumored to be as hard as the PE test. I am looking to take the NETA 4 as well so I would be am to know how it goes. Best of luck to you!
