Hello, I was introduced to this forum from a friend with a NETA company. I have worked in the industry now for 25 years, 11 of that working as a maintenance and testing specialist. I have a master electrician license in TN and I passed NETA II in 2008. However, I do not work for a NETA company anymore so I guess I lost that. I work for a large pipeline company, we use electric prime movers to move our product. My title is a tech specialist, I basically provide tech support to EC Techs in the field from a regional level. I do project management, oversee the scheduled electrical maintenance, write scope of work documents for the maintenance, I ran the project to rewrite the electrical maintenance program, I ran the project to rewrite the electrical safety program and policies, basically everything electrical support for our field guys. Looking forward to learning and providing insight!
