Rule #1: We are all professionals here and members are expected to treat each other with respect at all times. Conduct yourself here as you would on the job or in a public setting.

Your post count has a huge effect on your status and reputation in the community. As your post count grows, so does your access to special features and promotions around the site.

Some posting rules: Do not make posts that provide nothing of value to the community, and do not post spam. Also don't post stuff like "I'm just posting because I have to," or "I'm not spam." Posts like these will not increase your post count and waste the moderation team's time. Posts that contribute nothing of value - such as comments that are senseless or unrelated - to a topic may be deleted by the moderators at their discretion.

What is considered SPAM is a decision left up to the moderators but here are some guidelines: Don't try to advertise anything or attempt to get Backlinks to your website or affiliates. OUR SPAM RULE IS SIMPLE: WE KNOW IT WHEN WE SEE IT. Again, you get one warning. Continuing to post spam a second time will result in a temporary ban from the site. Repeat offenders will be permanently banned.

Vulgarity will obviously be removed and posting such material will result in your membership and IP address being banned immediately. We are all adults so please act civil and report questionable material, broken links or misinformation to the moderators so it can be removed or updated.

TestGuy.net relies solely on the contributions of its members in order to provide great resources to the electrical testing and engineering community. We have no affiliations with the International Electrical Testing Association. The information that is presented on this website is a result from many years of curation from thousands of resources submitted to us by users just like you.

If you are sitting for a NETA exam you can greatly help the community by sharing your experience with everyone. Post any articles or study material that you feel has helped you in the forums. This is how we keep our study guides and practice exams up to date. We also ask that you engage with others who are looking for help in the forums.

This might also be a good time for you to read our Terms and Conditions as well as our Privacy Policy.
